Default Best street gears

I was wondering the best street gears for Z's, hopefully I won't start a Jihad on this one. Also what company produces the best quality gears, and what is the stock ratio? TIA.

Depends on whether stock or modded. Stock = 3.45. Get SuperDana gears (same as Viper).

I just put 4.10's in mine, my observations are that the car feels lighter and is easier to move around in traffic, compared to when it was stock geared. A great plus is that 6th gear can be used from about 65 mph and I no longer have to change down to 5th when going up hills on the freeway. Overall it's much more driveable.

Whilst the 4.10's should also improve acceleration,my experience so far is that you won't really see this benefit on normal street tyres due to the lack of traction. With sticky tires like drag radials there should be a noticeable difference.

I'm very happy with the 4.10's, the benefits are such that it feels like the car should have had them in the first place.
