Thanks! This wasn't meant to be a "top secret so just PM me" thread. I just know that I get enough phone "spam" w/o my number being posted on the Internet.

Wow, sorry, I have been busy with the new shop. Just to catch you up, after numerous convesations with ARP giving the, "They will be delivered next week", the head studs are here. Measurements are being done to verify that the promised product is indeed the promised product. An FNG at my shop is preparing the short block. Minor machining is required on some very minor parts but nothing to the heads themselves.
I am taking everything to the new shop for my personal attention. The number there is 972-681-4444. Don't be surprised at the greeting, ask for me.
My apologies for the out of touch thing and not replying here. I have been leaving for work at 5:00 AM and getting back home at 10:00 PM. All I do is get up, got to work, go home, and sleep. Things will slow down in two weeks as the shop will be open by then and I will be out of there by 7:00 PM.

No problem I figured you had just gotten busy. I'm in Austin now and they will have emissions testing starting this year - I need to chat with you about putting cats on my car while you've got it to put the engine in - unless someone knows how to make it pass the sniff test w/o cats.
I've always wondered if a chip could be made to do that. Drive to the shop - swap the chip around the corner - pass the test and then put the normal chip back it.

use the random shf metallic cats and get her drunk and a bit of "lamp fuel". it will pass the visual and the sniff and since the cats are mounted with slip joints and clamps you can go to a straight pipe very easily.
works for me.
works for me.

Mine is an easy deal - or was until GM discontinued the damn head bolts. The short block is already built and the heads / intake are already ported. Just needs to be put together and dropped in.

Have lurker call Mike Crowley. I believe he has a set. Also Marc H. should have a set in stock as well.
