Dyno results
Mods in sig. Just got car back from Dynotech Engineering. Car went in with a wild A/F ratio, and major low speed drivability issues. All issues were resolved, and the car now has excellent street manners, as well as a much improved throttle response. The car's baseline when they got it was 306 rwhp, 360 rw torque. The final tune resulted in 328 rwhp (peak at ~ 5100rpm) , 372 rw torque (peak at ~ 4400rpm). Assuming ~ 18% loss thru drive train, that equates to about 400 horsepower, and 454 pound feet of torque. Needless to say, we are very pleased with the results. If I can get the digital camera card reader to be recognized by Windows, I'll post a pic of the dyno graph. Kudos to Dynotech for a very nice job (they even offered to update the program once the weather gets cold if we notice any subtle changes in the car's behavior - for no charge)

A few years ago, when we were first getting 'the bug', we had the K&N filter and lid, hypercrap chip, flowmaster cat back, and the airfoil. The car put down 217 hp, and 290 tq. The superram/heads/cam/exhaust package (with the dynotech tune) gave us 111hp, 80 ft. lb. of torque, and about another 1200 useful RPM (we'll spin it up to about 5600rpm). We were really expecting about 400 hp and 400 torque, but to get the 450 pound feet (or thereabouts) out of a 350, and the way it feels, is wicked, at ANY rpm.
drive on!
Oh one more tought, though Dynotech had the car for a bit longer than we had hoped, they did an excellent job IMO. I'd reccomend them to anyone, at a very reasonable price, and we'd certianly go back there ourselves.
