How did the hood scoop go?
I am considering the same scoop for mine. Was the build quality ok, did it fit well?

i like the hood scoop ( what brand is it and did it go on easily or alot of work) i also like the head lights, gets rid of the ridicilous flip up system. Did you do this yourself or was it a kit ?

I personally like yellow myself too.

That hoodscoop was custom mounted on that hood, will never come off or shake paint loose...The shop formed bondo around the scoop to blend it in after they mounted it...Was NOT a cheap project....I like this project--but to do it over again--I WOULD NOT!!!...I probably put around $30 k into this including the 8k buying it...I found out I could have bought a yellow c5 with low mileage for $30,000 But loss---but I gotta love this car anyhow....thanks for the comments....

Ok,,,,to answer everyones ?'s...most of this stuff is from c5west...I know I know---""I've heard it all and read their comments--"" But I purchased them before all that...Oh well...We learn. The scoop is called c4r scoop, the interior is also the c5west interior--But I put a fortune into those pieces too to look better than alot of other peoples projects looked....As soon as I'm done-I will send spencer at c5west some pics of my car to make his website look better....And yes--the mirrors are the c5 mirrors, Heres whats on there, greenwood package, c4r wing, c4r scoop, hood louvers, non popups (c5west $450), testarossa hatch, 3rd light, windsheild fairings, all 4 grandsport fairings, and a ton of interior upgrades, black/yellow ---I WILL POST PICTURES LATER WHEN I'M FINISHED, I'm waiting for my garage to clear out, to work on car inside, THIS FLORIDA HEAT IS TOO HOT!!!.... :reddevil

What you've done to your 85 is almost exactly what I want to do to mine! Thing is, I want the cowl hood instead, and I kinda like the testarossa door panels. But first on mine is engine work, cause it runs like a dog.

Ok ok,,,I'll admit, my car is pretty ricey looking, but still it is an attention getter, but thats what I wanted, I didn't want the average looking corvette, you see those at every intersection, I wanted something you Don't see....I like it... :steering:

I'm not usuallly in to modified cars, but I like this one. It has a lot of curb appeal. You guys, if your going to go for obnoxious, you can't go half way!! :shocked: Personally, I'd love to have it but can't justify the expense.

Thats awesome! I think you did a bang up job! I'd feel about an inch tall if you pulled up beside me. :shocked: My hat is off to anyone brave enough to go against the mainstream..perhaps there's some jelousy among the nay-sayers . ;) I wouldn't do it to mine but only cuz I'm trying to stay stock. I think it looks fantastic!
