All you ProCharger owner out there should watch closely and see how brittle is their supercharger hat. What a piece of craps, it is only 2 Summer and it is cracks and broken. I am going to temparary to get some round soft tubing and weld into the plastic hat.

If that piece of plastic got into your motor that will probably cause some damage. I found out I have the cracks today when I pull my blower out to change a spark plug wire because one of my wire touched the header and got burned. Bummer.

I had my inlet boot fail and a big chunk of plastic got sucked through my blower and the plastic shreds and aluminum impeller chunks blown into my engine...blower rebuild and my engine started using oil. ATI replaced the impeller for $700 (should have been warranteed) and they gave me a mandrel bent piece of aluminum tubine to replace the plastic piece of crap. About a month later, I pulled the engine for a bore, hone and re-ring job.

it is insanity to paid $4200 for the kit and got craps quality. Learn from mistake. Obviously, I did not know as much as I known now. I would have buy the blower head unit only and build everything else mine own. Live and learn :mad Eventually I will end up having a aluminum tubing hat. junk that plastic craps.

This is why whenever I install a kit on someones car, I only order the charger, mount and everything to drive it. I make everything else myself.

I have the twin intercooled kit (modified to fit) on my 85. I dont have a part that looks like this. I am understanding correctly that this part is on the inlet side of the supercharger?? Mine only has a K&N filter- no other plumbing attached. Theres a pic on my site if anyone cares to see. Click link in sig.

L98 and LT1 are totally 2 differ kit. L98 kit where your air filter attach directly to the SC or re-route it to the battery location. LT1 the Air Inlet Plenum attach to the SC and route it the air filter to the radiator overflow tank for cool air but very cramp space.
I heard all the complaint about ATI not replying emails. it is not true in my case. I email them on Sunday and got a reply on Monday and they offered 1/2 price on a new air inlet plenum for $25so Iordered for now. I will try to have one make later.

Hey I see you are running a 10 rib sepentine setup. Is that any help in belt slipage at all? The slipage cause by bad design in the belt routing. Also where the heck did you find a 10rib that long? I just curious.

Thanks for the heads up buddy.will look out for it.I just put alot of time and money in to my engine stroked it to 383 and added intercooler.dont have that part any more put Thanks any.

Great looking setup! did you sleeve your crank pulley with a 10 rib? Who did the work/sleeving? Who supplied the pulleys? I'm anxious on doing a similar setup on my 94 383 with my ATI. Did you do the hat fabrication yourself?

It is still a serpentine drive belt setup. What he did is to cut 4 groove on the factory balancer that will have a total of 10 groove. If you look at the picture at the alternator pulley, is a 10 groove pulley and all other acessories are 10 groove pulley as well. A 8rib conversion will out perform that 10rib serpentine drive belt setup.

All the pulleys are new and made by a friend of mine.
The belt was ordered by a company here in Iceland.
It comes from Optibelt in Germany.

I ran the car for the first time this weekend and I only saw 13 psi
of boost so it must be slipping.

The blower pulley is 3,4" and the crank 7,6".
What size are your pulleys Bruce ?

No doubt your serpentine drive certainly is better than the originally serpentine driver setup and you had got a new belt routing rather than the serpentine belt that normally come with the kit. Here is a pic so other will see what I am talking about. With your setup, I don't see your power steering pump and your air condtioning.

I am running a cogged setup and my factory serpentine belt remain unchange, the very same belt that will drive all my acessories and air conditioning. I am running 7.3275 balancer and 2.931 blower pulley, this combo will max out my D1SC supercharger at 6000rpm.

The power steering pump is there, just like the stock setup.

Who needs A/C in Iceland?

Your system is the ultimate, but how is noise compered to the serpentine.
Those cogged pulleys are harder to make.
