First Dragstrip run - 12.39@113.94mph !!!!
I ran my car for the first time since installing the 383. Drove it up to ESTA safety park in Cicero NY. Ran 4 passes during the test and tune, ran a best of 12.39 @ 113.94mph. Very pleased with the Super Ram/AFR/74219/383 combo. Wanted to do more tuning on it but........well,see my next post :cry

That's a nice first time run!
You have more than enough MPH for an 11 second run. Work on "hooking it a little" and the 11 is yours for the taking.

Mr Mojo is the "stick shift vette veteran" and i'm sure he'll chime in.
I used to pilot a 5 speed '90 blown mustang gt. It had full slicks and skinnies and a drag suspension. I left at 5900 off the two step and regularly pulled 1.59 60's(God that was fun!)

Yes I did break something. On my 4th pass the left half-shaft exploded and went to Corvette heaven :blueangel:

Nice run punk :smash: How were those BFG's hooking, what kinda 60''s were you getting?

Moon,
The BFG drag radials were hookin' well, my 60 footers were 1.88- 1.99.
Since this was the first time out I was just starting to get a feel for the setup. I'm hoping for good weather so I can flog it some more.... :smash:
