Default Did The TB Bypass--Opinions on My Routing

I did the TB Bypass this morning-- Do you think the routing [5/8 heater hose], is it safe??? Any long term problems???
It goes under the air duct.

Thanks

I would get it away from the A/C lines. They are very thin aluminum, and if they are rubbed, they could get a leak....

Thanks,
I spaced it away from the aluminum.
I routed it this way to avoid that crowded area near the TB--the AIC valve, Etc...

Actually, I did it to prevent unnecessary heat around the throttle and plenum.

If you check the archives, you will see claims of added horsepower.

These points have all been covered before several times in previous threads .

If you search 'Throttle Body Bypass' in C4 Tech/Performance, you will see the past threads on this subject

I found it possible to route it under my ac compressor, directly to intake manifold. As you can see in this pic, or should I say what you can't see in this pic :D

I routed mine the same a Agent 86. I believe the hose is a 5/8 and get one with a preformed 90 degree bend. Hook the short radius 90 at the block, route under the IAC & TPS, and under the air conditioner line. It seems to fit just fine.

Hmm. I will be attempting this today. I hate the big hose going over the top... it reminds me of the St. Louis arch, only made of rubber.

I like the yellow paint. Is it powder coating? How did you smooth out the mag valve covers? Looks great.

I went from a 5/8" to a 1/2" and back to a 5/8". That way I could route the 1/2" under the TPS without interference. I makes getting to the IAC a pain though.

Like so...

I like your routing - looks very clean.
