POLL - What oil filter do you use on your Corvette?
I don't know if this survey has been done before on the forum (it probably has), but I was just curious.
I'm about to change the oil in my car in light of the great weather we're having, and I wanted to know what everyone else uses.

Since they no longer produce PF25, I switched to PF1218...but then again, all my small block powered cars are running the PF1218. :thumbs:

Since they no longer produce PF25, I switched to PF1218...but then again, all my small block powered cars are running the PF1218. :thumbs:

wasnt sure about the K&n too much.. i think it was just me but does the drainback valve affect oil level any way?? i thought it was preventing oil from coming back to the pan so i was never sure if the level was right. I do know when i used the k&n though i put the same amount of oil in and it read at a different level. i took it off after 25 km and put in a delco one. :smash:

I use the STP filter ST-373
My car does not have a trans cooler, and this filter holds nearly 2 qt.s
This way i have more oil, which gives longer oil life. My car holds 7 qt.s w/ a stock pan.

Since they discontinued the PF25, I am now running the PF454...the replacement filter for the PF25. :chevy

I use K&N. The oil filter hangs down low enough, and my lowered car with an oil cooler makes it <4" above ground. The K&N has a THICK casing on it, so its less likely to get punctured or torn from road rash and debris.

Well... the car came with an AC Delco PF52, so that is what I have used ever since. No complaints here.

I use the 1218 on small and big blocks now.
