walbro fuel pump? which one
I'm needing a new fuel pump and was going to get the 255lph kit from autoperformanceengineering and would like to know if anybody has puchased this before and installed it. It says the lt1 corvettes have some kind of module and need modifications. What kind of modifications are they.

I'm not real sure what they would be talking about. As far as I know it's a bolt in replacement. I've had my eye on this kit from RaceTronix for some time.

Re: walbro fuel pump? which one (Nathan Plemons)
I've done the install as well and it is pretty much a bolt on. The only modification I had to do was remove the inline pressure stabilizer and it simply pulls out and a rubber hose replaces it. Everything else is drop and load if you order the right wiring harness.

Re: walbro fuel pump? which one (XTwinTurbo)
I've been using them for a while now. Direct replacement for L98's and LT1 vettes. I get a good deal on them for under $100, so I hooked a few people up with them. You can't go wrong with them.

As I've stated a number of times on the CF, if 1/10th of the aftermarket stuff we pay big bucks for was as well designed as the Racetronix setup, we would all have much less aggrevation in our Corvette lives!! This whole setup is truly "plug n' play".
