Vibration at Speed
My vette is a 95 LT1 with 110K on the clock. I've only owned it half a year so am new to this. I've not done anything to it since I bought it but am thinking it's time to dig in and replace some things.
I have a vibration that starts around 55 and gets worse the faster I go. I just got the tires balanced (today) and it didn't help a bit. I was wondering if anyone else has had a vibration at speed that was not the result of out of balance tires.
The steering wheel doesn't really vibrate or jerk around like an unbalanced front tire. The vibration is more all over.
Would worn front end components (idler arm, etc...) cause this?
Is it possible the front and rear need aligning?
All advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Vibration at Speed (AimHi)
If you haven't had an alignment yet, get one as it never hurts to have it done. That helped on my vibration issue. (which sounds almost like yours) I'm sure suspension components that are wore could cause that. I know on one of my previous cars it was a bad ball joint that caused it. Good luck on getting it taken care of.
