Bose amps
FYI, I'm sending off all four of my amps directly to Bose to be repaired/replaced for $75 each. You'll have to contact Bose for a RMA number. Being that this car is going on 15 years old...I think that's great service.

I personally like the Bose system :D although many members think it sucks! I replaced mine with an after market, but I learned later :( that there's alot of people that repair the systems, and I think you can find a better deal than Bose out there-is it Dr. Dons or something? Whatever-check out links-or just enjoy your refurbished system

Re: Bose amps (Pappa_Bear)
what is the warranty from BOSE - limited or lifetime?
Do they charge you for return freight and handling?
I'm ready to send 2 of mine out as well.
The place I've used in the past offers a lifetime warranty @ $90 ea +$15 shipping ($105 ttl).

Re: Bose amps (Pappa_Bear)
I've contacted them also, and what they will do is replace the speakers, & all the boards, check the amps & update everything else. There is a 1 year warranty for all of this. I plan on doing this in the near future.

if you want to keep it original, it's the only way to go.
otherwise, pull the junk and go aftermarket.
the bose system lacks the punch and overall sound quality required, in my opinion.
