LT-1 Clutch replaced
I dropped the tranny on my '92 and removed the old clutch and pressure plate. For the life of me where is the yellow dot to line everything back??I'm replacing the whole assembly,do I have to worry about balance? :banghead:

I think the flywheel will only fit one way...
and the clutch itself fits only one way... I may be wrong...
it's been a while...

Re: LT-1 Clutch replaced (Ernest)
one way only......I did mine this past weekend with a Alum.fly as well. I got the ZIP Products one from right here on the Forum it did have the dots which lined her up perfect(once I got that pesky driveline beam outa the way!)

Don't forget to keep your driveshaft aligned as well. There should be a black paint dot/stripe on the shaft and one side of the yolk should be yellow. These marks go opposite each other. At least that's the way it is on a '95. I accidently had mine in with the marks lined up and noticed a slight vibration at highway speed. Once I reversed it the vibration was gone.
