Re: throttle body question...what is the size/part# of the replacement bearing (korvette4u)
There is no bushing. It's eating away at the aluminum housing.
A quick search on this topic will give you the guys name who machines out the TB for actual bearings.
My TB has a worn bore on the driver side so I'm going to look into having the work done locally.

Re: throttle body question...what is the size/part# of the replacement bearing (AGENT 86)
The stock throttle body does not have any bushing or bearing for the throttle shaft to ride on. It's the steel throttle shaft on the aluminum of the body itself. Thousands of actuations cause the shaft bore to become egg shaped and the problems begin. Can't recall the bearing part number off the top of my head but it's a SKF unit. This was quoted to me by: David Koldos dkoldos@Ameritech.Net

Well you found the guy that rebuilds them and I'm surprized he didn't remember the part #.
Did you email him and that was his answer ?
If you find the # let me know

You can also try this guy: http://users3.ev1.net/~thor10/HP-FAQ.htm
They rebuild them with new bearings, exchange, re-build yours, buy a new one outright, whatever.
Merry Christmas!

agent 86: is your worn on the shaft or the housing ?
found this : "Why does your 50mm TBI flow 700 CFM when a big block TBI only flows 670CFM
We have flow tested our 50mm TBI throttle bodies using a stock BBC 2" throttle body and find ours flows more air. Why you ask, first, we machine down the throttle shaft from .375" diameter/thickness to .150", and second we add an aftermarket injector spacer which both add up to much greater air flow potential."
logicaly the bearing should have a .375" center diameter for stock replacement. now what is the outside dimension?

I belive your looking at GM Truck throttle body injection units used from around 1988 till about 1995. That's quite a bit differnt from L98 and LT1 throttle body units we all know and love! The website kinda jumps around as they service all of these units, not just Corvettes

I'll swap you two lovely sealed bearings for just one of your lovely air pump eliminator kits. :jester
