Default proper dist/coil wiring L98 MAF TPI

I have the 1987 L98 with the HEI, coil in the dist cap. The cap has two terminals, "Bat" and "Tach". My question is about the bat terminal. I am in the middle of a rewiring project, including a new MAF harness. Can anyone tell me how to run the wire that connects to the Bat terminal, where does it go ? I know the wire is supposed to supply
12vhot to the coil, and that it has to be 12vhot when the key is in the start and run position. thanks for any help on this

Bat power comes from ignition switch.
