Great read!

I have purchased a K&N (and the newer Accel equivalent) filter, but after looking at them closely, I would never put one of these cotton gauze filters on a car that I owned. Hold it up to a light bulb, you can see that it is full of holes large enough to pass a sewing needle through, not to even mention fine dirt particals. Can you say "ring and cylinder wall wear"?
