Dyno day tomorrow, what do you think I'll get hp wise?
Tomorrow morning I should be at the dyno day up here in Lubbock at Tx Speed. Not sure what type of dyno they have. I'll get 3 runs though. I know I probably haven't gained much at all over stock with the simple bolt on stuff I have, but with my mileage considered and my God awful 1/4 time (all though a hot day), what should I expect??? Anyone wanna guess and see if they get it right? :D
1995 LT1 A4 (3.07)
130k miles
MSD 6A (w/little cooling fan by it, doesn't matter, just wanted to add lol)
Taylor wires, NGK plugs
Meziere electric pump
3" Tri-Flo cat-back (minus resonator)
RandomTech catalytic converters
Open-lid K&N
TB bypass (kind of irrelevant  )
160 powerstat (probably not helping since I have no computer/fan mods)
maybe few other simple parts
I also recently replaced the timing chain, O2 simms, and a couple other parts if those matter.
1/4 mile time was a 14.4@96 mph, BUT, on a 95+ degree day, after my first two runs, temperature outside was around 98-99 with San Antonio,Tx humidity and it was the first time to the track in the Vette. Most my friends were running anywhere from .5 - 1.5 slow that day.
I'm praying for 265 rwhp :blueangel: :D

I think I may have met you one night at rivercity. You said you had just gotten the car. I have a maroon 94. I think it was back in june? My car is being tuned on the dyno and should be done tomorrow. Im guessing around 250rwhp if its a dynojet for your combo.

I'm completely interested in what you pull. I never got to dyno my '96 LT1 in stock form before doing an LT4/Hotcam conversion.
Through the stock manifolds right now I've done 316RWHP, converter unlocked. Locked up would add about 10RWHP. *Done on a Dynojet.
Let us know how it turns out.

Re: Dyno day tomorrow, what do you think I'll get hp wise? (BowTieBlood)
So what was the Dyno?
Going by your shear Track MPH I'd say under 250HP, but I do not know your track DA. Much heat and humidity can add about 2-3 tenths to an ET and reduce 2-3Mph, but even then.
Something is amiss with that car of yours. Bone stock LT1's should be in the mid 13's at 101+MPH...
How'd you do?

My Stock (Only a cut lid and K&N) 94 Lt-1, did 249 RWHP before the tune-up.
It runs much better now and I plan to Dyno again next month on DynoDay.

My guess 262 RWHP And most all stock LT1 Autos 13.8 to 14.2 from 98 mph to 102 Depends on Driver and Car & conditions

Sorry for slow reply...
I posted it in another thread when I got the results...
They were:
263.1 max rwhp and 296.5 max rwtq
So like 321 and 362 if you count in 18% drivetrain loss, of course I have no idea what my loss actually is, but I do have 130k miles on the car, and was leaking tranny fluid all over the dyno

Most the guys out there figure I can run mid-high 13s on any other day
We'll have to wait and see.

Cool i'm glad your car is making good power then. In teh heat cars here on the east coast run slower too, but usually not more than a few tenths worse.
Try some Drag radials and some cold or non humid weather and get that low 13 y/ high 12 you should be getting. What elevation does your track have? That's plays into it a lot aswell.

Hmmm, I'm not sure exactly, it'd be the same elevation as San Antonio (where the track is), or Austin if that's easier to find.
