Parking the car for winter?
I'm parking the vette for winter, what should I do to my car before leaving it parked for 6 months.
I though of putting some type of gaz preservative in the gas tank, and I though of running the engine once in a wile during winter.
What do you guys recommend?

Fill the gas tank completely full, fill tires to their max pressure

Trust me when I say this... I wish I could live in a warmer region, but I'd have to give up to much of my life to go down there.
At least I'm keeping the millage low on my car... I have an 88 with only 102 000 km equal to 63750 Miles :)

And we've always have a once a year "project time" for the vette :yesnod:

I'll be putting mine away in another month or two, you may want to keep the battery on a trickle charger, they're all about the same I guess. I'm using a Battery Tender brand one on mine. Some people put some dryer sheets in their cars to help keep mice out. Works like mothballs, but smells better. Also change the oil before you put it away for storage. I've used the StaBil (sp?) brand fuel stuff in the past with good luck.

I changed the oil about 3 weeks ago, its still yellow not even dark yet, my gas tank is 80% full, I guess I'll just fill up the tire pressure and add some gas preservative.
What do you guys think about parking my vette in a car tempo over winter?

Another question, is it good to start the engine once every week or two? to make certain the valve seals inside the engine don't dry up?? I can't remember were I've heard this before..
