Re: water injection vs IC (devilfish)
Carroll Superchargers does have a aqueous injections kit, Kenne Bell also uses and sells these kits as well. It does work well from what I have heard. The thing about air to air IC is that they tend to get heat soaked and then their efficiency goes down considerably. The same with water to air, once the water gets hot their efficicency drops off dramatically as well. Some racers have large water resorvoirs that has compartments with ICE to keep them cold, while others have devised ways off using liquid CO2 to spray onto the intercoolers for that 1/4 mile blast or when ever they would need it.

I know with gaseous (water injection) you can run a 10.5:1 CR and not have any detonation. It will rob you of a little power compared to a IC but, with the higher CR you can run with it, it should make up for that. That is the reason I am going with the Carllol SC because it comes with everything and it comes with the gaseous IC.

There's pros and cons to both, that's why some hard core guys run both. :D
Check out Blackbart. He does a water/alcohol injection along with running a Spearco air to air IC (I think it's air to air  )

Re: water injection vs IC (vvv90)
My Carrol kit has water injection built into the tube leading into tb so when car hits predetermined boost level it sprays a high pressure mist directly into tb.

Re: water injection vs IC (devilfish)
can you use water injection as a replace for a IC to keep the heat down?
Thanks
