Default OptiSpark Options

Instead of changing out the entire 1995 LT1 Distributor - is it worthwhile to change out only the cap/rotor IF there is evidence of tracking or wear? Is it any easier to do?

replace the damned thing.

I am not a fan of spending 150.00 and 4 hours of my time to replace the cap, when in 6 months, I am gonna have to spend a small fortune on a new part that will require the labour all over again.

For peace of mind and good maintenance practices, replace the entire unit. If it were me, I'd look very hard at the Dyna-Spark, when/if mine gives me any trouble, that is my next stop.
