Goodridge SS brakeline install QUESTION
I just purchased a set of Goodridge SS brake lines and have run into a problem (one that I can't find in any archived topics)The kit came with 4 lines. 2 have straight ends, while the other 2 have 90-degree ends on the caliper end. The original rubber lines have all straight ends. Has anyone run into this problem? I think that the 90-degree is for the rear, but brakes aren't something that I want to guess at. ANY help would be appreciated. Also, I purchased a Hurst line-lock. I would like to install it in the well with the ABS module. Could anyone tell me which line I would hook it up to by the ABS module? I tried looking in my shop (haynes) manual, but they don't give any details of the module. Thanks

As for your ABS module, if you look closely at each pipe entering there will be a label embossed. One for each wheel LF, RF, LR , RR, and two from the master cylinder labelled F and R. The line loc goes in the line labelled F. There is a complete installation kit for this, if interested send me an e-mail. The kit includes all the brake lines you need, all fittings, electrical connections, & switches.

Here's a link for the installation kit in the compartment where you want it. http://www.zr1specialist.com/HAT%20W...ine%20lock.htm

PS again - I'm putting those same brake lines on my car Friday, so I can answer your other question then.

Thanks Vetboy, I look forward to hear from you on Friday. Anyone else have experience with the Goodridge lines?

I've got the Goodridge lines on my '94, and do remember that 2 were bent, but can't positively recall which end they went on. I think the bends were on the front, but I'll check tonight when I get home from work.

Re: Goodridge SS brakeline install QUESTION (sraft)
You already heard this, but I told you I would respond. The flat end goes on the front caliper. This is the same fitting as was on the stock rubber hose. I also installed the Marc Haibeck line-lock kit. It is an awesome setup, very inconspicuous. I could send you some pics if you like. It is similar to Marc's design, but I have a different terminal strip idea, and mounted a lighted activation switch.

Re: Goodridge SS brakeline install QUESTION (VetBoyZR1)
When I bought my Goodridge lines last month they forgot to put the correct fittings in the package at the factory. Had to call Goodridge, they chacked the packages on the shelf and they didn't have the fitting either. They overnighted me one that day.
