What is stall RPM on the stock torque converter in 4L60E?
Per subject line. They put a new tc in my '95 (GMPP) and the car feels different from about 1300 - 1800 rpm. I thought I had an engine stumble issue because it feels like a slight power drop when the engine rpm's go through that range, but there are no misses. So I'm wondering if its just the brand new converter coming off stall very positively that I'm feeling in that range.
I've heard as low as 1300 for stock tc stall and I've heard as high as 2000.
I don't know which it is or if its somewhere in between.

TC in 85-86 was 2024, later years it dropped much lower, but I dont recall the exact number. Probably about 1400-1500

If that's the case, then what I'm feeling is the stall phase ending and the lock catching.
