Series 40 or 50 for my 94 LT-1? I would like to be able to hear people in my Vette...and talk to them and use the radio :yesnod: :lol: but I would like to have a good sound out the tail pipes when I step on it :thumbs:

The 40 is the loudest and the 50 is still plenty loud. I have the 50 series on my car I would not want them any louder. They sound good like they are.

I am running the Flowmaster Force II cat-back system. It is fairly quiet at cruising speed and screams at WOT.

I don't know what "series" mine are but they are the 3 chamber custom FlowMasters in the TPIS cat-back.

Though severel passengers have remarked that they are loud I find them very sweet. I can carry on a conversation or listen to my Bose (if I should want to) easily.

I had the entire exhaust (front Y, hi-flow cat and cat-back) done at once and it seemed a little loud for a short time. But I quickly adapted and now don't think of it as loud...just sweet.

I have the force 2 LT1 system, mufflers and resonator. At cruise the road noise is louder than the exhaust, accelerating thru the gears sound great. Can't wait until I get long tubes to add more music to my exhaust.
