It's not a bargain but it has some nice pieces. It wouldn't be enough compression for me. Do you know what valves are in the head and flow numbers?

Personally, I'd be concerned about the 0.060" overbore and nodular crank with nitrous (mentioned next to the rings....) Personally, I wouldn't pay that much for a block that has no rebuilds left in it and may be marginal for it's intended purpose, as well as a nodular crank. Now, if it were a 0.030" block w/ a good forged crank, I'd reconsider. I'm not saying that the price isn't right for the components, I just wouldn't drop $5k on a motor that I personally feel won't hold up all that well to abuse.

it's not a bad deal by any means, see if the guy has main bearing clearance numbers. the iron crank isn't really a strength concern on a 400-450hp engine, it's setting them up that's harder than the high quality forged units. that engine also could use a little more cam than a zz9. something like my cam would definatly fit the engine a little better. the zz9 is nice if you have emissions however. i'd say, if the engine was built by a high class builder and you get numbers on the build, it's worth buying. if it's a "as-is" deal keep looking.
