95 with Z07 package, which shocks?
I’ve searched, a lot.
And I can’t figure out if I should get the bilstein b6 or b8 shocks.
My 95 LT1 has the ZO7 package, but my SPID sticker does not have Z51 on it…
I drive this car on mountain roads. Would like to track it one day, but 99% of driving will be on roads with cracks and chatter.
What say you? B6 or B8? Thanks!

It is expected you wouldn’t have Z51. The option code didn’t exist for 91-95.
If you are lowered, or expecting to lower, get the B8. Otherwise get the B6 for stock ride height.

If you have a Z07 package you have the FX3 adjustable shocks and a stiffer spring setup than the base suspension. If you're looking for the FX3 shocks they can be had but stock fluctuates. I just search and Zip Corvette has the rears but not the fronts. Corvette Central says both front and rear are in stock. There's also an actuator setup with a gear and harness you should check.
If you don't want to spend the coin for the FX3 setup the B8 shocks will be the appropriate choice for the springs in the Z07 package. There is a difference in the compression/rebound rates for the B8. I have yet to see anyone on here complain they put B8s instead of B6s on their car-base suspension or performance.

B8's for Z07. But what I can't understand is why Bilstein has different part numbers B8's for 89-94 and 95-96, while the B6's are listed 89-96. Maybe a typo and should be '96 specific since even Z51 cars were mush in '96.
I used the 89-94 B8's on my '91 FX3 that is basically 92-95 Z07 spring rates and bars.
I’d use the 89-94 B8 with a ‘95 Z07.
