2600 stall in a 94 4l60e LT1, tune needed?
I just purchased a 2500-2800 stall TC for my 4l60e as its getting rebuilt and figured id put on in since i have to replace it anyway. Just occured to me now that it may require a tune.
Is that the case? Or will it just figure it out? Im assuming it needs one and if so whats the best way to go about getting these tuned?
Thanks.

I am assuming you ordered a torque converter with lock up, if so you do not need a tune but under normal driving it will lock up at the same speed as before,
I believe its 42 mph and under WOT it will lock up at 90 mph with 2.59 rear gears and 76 mph with 3.07 rear gears, that is how the factory tunes are on my 90 corvette
with the L98, I am not sure if it is similar with the LT1 cars with the 4L60E, that being said you should not need a tune if you ordered a non lock up converter I am
not sure what you have to do. once installed if your happy with it just leave it if not then look into having it tuned.
