Default TPI engine Valve Stem Seals

Technically, this is for a Camaro, but I’m working on an 85 TPI engine.

we are swapping valve stem seals -

the OE intake and exhaust look different

the OE exhaust was just a maroon, hardend plastic
shell combined with the Valve stem o-ring

the intake was a spring clamp rubber seal - along with the valve-stem o-ring

the replacement kit is just 16 soft rubber seals amd o-rings - none have the spring clip -

i do not want to pull the heads.

suggestions?

Unless you are pulling the heads for another reason, I wouldn't pull the heads just to do valve stem seals. Youtube will have videos on how to do it without pulling the heads. Might have to invest in a different spring compressor than the ones used with the heads off. Will be a huge time saver.
The intake and exhaust seals are different as you stated in your post. If possible I would return the set you have and get the correct set.
