Bumper cover, front
My bumper cover is both weather and battle worn. The previous owner left it out in the sun on hot summer days. I watched a video on changing it. It doesn't look to be too bad. Has anyone done this on their c4s? Mine is a 93 coupe. What is a good source? How hard is it going to be to get one Polo green? Or is painting part of the act?

The process isn't to extremely tough just a lot of 10 or 11mm bolts some hidden but all said it should be off in under an hour 45 minutes?
Now the bigger question if you can find a clean matching color or your on car nose cover is killed then it's worth the effort. But if you're cover is just dinjy and needs paint and a few blemishes in material have a body shop recondition it

1) Check with some of the larger corvette dismantelers like Mirrock Corvette or Vette2Vette for a good condition bumper cover.
2) A body shop should be able to repaint your original one or repaint one that's in better condition but a different color. Perhaps post a picture of what you have now.

1) Check with some of the larger corvette dismantelers like Mirrock Corvette or Vette2Vette for a good condition bumper cover.
2) A body shop should be able to repaint your original one or repaint one that's in better condition but a different color. Perhaps post a picture of what you have now.

First, I am a little fussy about my Corvettes apearence (just ask anybody who knows me)
That being said, I also try to do all my work DIY on the cheep
Looking at how deformed your bumper is, After you have fixed all the cracks, I am afraid the deformation will still be visiable
My recommendation is to purchase a used bumper cover and paint it yourself, you will have the same amount of time spent prepping and painting the non-deformed bumper as fixing your bumper
