I bought a new center console lid. Can't seem to figure out how the hinge connects. Do I take the plastic bottom off the lid and slide the hinge in between the top and bottom of the lid?

Any help, pictures would be greatly appreciated!

It looks like the holes line up, there is also wear marks on the hinge that line up with the stiffening ribs on lid

Remove the cover on the rest then you should be able to see how it mounts
