Default LT1 with Procharger clearance issues

1995 LT1 396 w/LT4 AFR-220 heads, big cam, headers, etc., etc., etc. I currently run D1SC w/dedicated 12 rib drive. Upping to F1R (1000whp on e85). Has anyone done this already? If so, how did you address clearance issues between blower inlet and radiator shroud? Also, if I upgrade my current blower, has anyone made 1000whp with a D1X?

i cut about an 8” diamter hole in the radiator shroud and fit an approximately 6” diameter , 3.5” tall k&n stub filter on the face of the blower

i built a plastic box around it (using a 7” diameter PVC pipe end cap) to avoid
it taking in hot radiator air and used corrugated garden drain piping (out the bottom of the cap) and a 90 degree elbow to funnel up cool air from underneath the car

im assuming it works bc if i point a hair drier underneath the car, i feel the blower face get ‘warm’ as a result.

however this is a smaller p600b blower.

i wish i could fit a bigger filter on the face of the blower, but i cant. So i clean it often

this is on a 93. Stock radiator is unmoved/original location
