Look at the picture. Or read the 20 posts ahead of this one. They are Bosch EV1, The EV1s are not as sensitive to ethanol as the Multecs. Multecs aren't used until 1989. The OP has a 1985.
Not sure. They do look like it with that fat body but if it isn't, fair enough. I thought they were in the earlier years but if you say it is 89 and up, I suppose. IF this is all true, he can have them cleaned.

Vette Multecs have greyish (almost blue) body and do not have that thinner "belt" around the body. Those black ones are Bosch. I think almost all injectors were fat like that back in the day. Not sure but I might have seen a Bosch injector with same style body with Multecs too. If unsure then check the number on the injector.

Multecs on my engine:

These are Bosch, they have a Bosch Part number on it. They are original to the car, that's why I decided to rebuilt these instead of buying junk...

The newer Bosch 3 injectors don't use a clip to hold them into the rail, they use an extra o-ring on the bottom of the injector to seat them into the hole at the proper depth, this system works great without using those clips... Bosch 3s are the injectors I suggested this gentleman use in his other post from a couple weeks ago... Bosch 3 injectors from "FIC" are what most of us on this forum have been using as replacements for years because they are very good injectors that work great in these cars. Mine have been in my 383 engine for 10 years without any problems...WW
