113 Aka zz4 have 58cc Conventional chamber and Conventional intake bolt pattern ... Nothing about them are Vortec.

centerbolt only VCs, require rail aka self-align rockers unless guideplates installed,

angled plugs, D-port exhausts raised 0.100", 1.94" In - 1.5" Ex, No, there's no exhaust heat riser-Xover.

Me thinks 58cc chamber w/ typical dish piston and typical gasket makes just over 9.5:1 scr ... YMMV

L83s have a flat top piston with a trough value relief in the top. They are 9:1 with 76cc standard heads. They look like this. I think it’s he trough is about 4cc

Thought some tpi manifolds had the center 2 bolt holes run in at a different angle, that's what I was getting at. But I think those were isolated...

You may need to run mid grade, or maybe premium gas with the 041 heads. I'd suggest at least lapping the valves before you install the heads. Place the heads face down, then squirt some "spray lube" (WD-40 or the like) on the back of the valves. Look for leakage into the combustion chambers.
I hear so many conflicting things some people said 624 are prone to cracks what do you guys think of 906 ?
I don't know if the 041 heads have valve stem seals. You might want to upgrade to the later '84 style seals, and maybe even use the '84 exhaust valve rotators from your 624 heads.

I put a set of 993 heads on my '84, because I have to meet California smog laws. My car runs good and passes smog with flying colors!

I have heard 624 are prone to crack ? I’m so confused 🤔 what about 906 ?

624 are lightweight version of 882 heads, they flow about 200cfm @.500 intake and 140cfm @.500 ex. 906 heads are vortec heads, flow 225/ 150. most modern aftermarket heads are better flowing. all depends on what you want to do.
