Is it possible to glue back a piece (about 3 inches long) onto the glass top???

I wish someone in the know would answer your question, because I was wondering the same thing.
That said, I have an extra bronze top for my 90 that had the left rear corner of it worked on. To me, it looks like a broken piece was glued back on but I really can't tell. So my answer to the Q would be "probably yes".
Is there someone on the forum who repairs tops or has access to the panels, etc.?

Where is it broken? Mine was on the rear corner and the pieces came off clean. Used super glue to put them back together and then cut a piece of light guage aluminum to go under the cracked area. Covered the area with epoxy and clamped the aluminum piece in place. I figure the glue will hold the pieces and the metal backing should keep it stable and reduce stress on the glue joint. Cracks show, but it beats the cost of a rebuilt top.
Hope you can fix yours!

Mine was also cracked/broken at the rear corner. I don't want to mess with it in case I re-break it or do some other damage. It seems to be solid enough as it is, so leave well enough alone.
Actually, I would prefer to get rid of it. I have two other tops, both solid ones that are in excellent shape. So I really have no need for this one. Wish someone would read this and offer me $100.00 for it!
