Default Open back hatch without power
ive got a 1985 that has no power and most likely won’t. How can I open the back hatch? Would like to remove the struts from window (and possibly the window itself).

This is a parts car.

Feel around under the center of the shade you will find a wire , pull it to release the hatch

Dont look for a ring like this. Someone added it to help pull the release. Should be just a wire.
