Default running bad and check engine light on

I bought a 1985 Corvette 2 weeks ago with 7500 miles on it and it ran great. The former owner passed away in 2016 so last weekend I siphoned out gas that was in the tank and replaced with fresh stabilized gas and didn't start the car till today and it did not want to idle and would stall unless I ran it at about 3500 to 4000 rpms, check engine light came on and it will idle once it is warmed up but runs really bad.
Any idea's what I did?

What is the code that came on probably your answer. Use the free paperclip trick and get the code.

I'd get a scanner if you plan to work on this car. Costs more but gives tons more data.

Default Zero fuel pressure

I just tested the fuel pressure, ZERO.
I can't hear the fuel pump either, must have messed up the fuel pump with the siphon hose?
I'm surprised the car runs at all with zero fuel pressure.
Thanks for your suggestions

Did you remove the fuel pump to siphon it or just put a hose down the fill port? You might have knocked the wiring loose. You can apply 12v to the pump harness located at the tank (remove fuel fill door) to test. You can also apply 12v to terminal g of the ALDL to test.

I can't see how it runs with 0 psi. Try again and if it dies use starting fluid.

Check out the power at the pump. This is a 2 man job since it primes for 2 seconds.

Sorry I skipped over the part where you had it running. Aklim is right it can't run with zero psi.

What method did you use to test the fuel pressure? If you get zero psi while running, your gauge is faulty or you don't have it screwed on to the schrader valve correctly.

As far as the fuel pump running, when you turn the key on initially, you should hear the pump prime for a few seconds. Just cycling the key back and forth won't make this happen because there is a timer/delay before it will prime again.

I got a fuel pressure gauge from the auto parts store so it's probably bad.
I'm going to pull the sending/fuel pump unit and see what I screwed up with the siphon hose.
Thanks guys

Can you get the car running and test?

Might want to look at the fuel pump fuse! Blown fuse, no fuel pump operation and of course, no pressure.....

First thing I checked, I'm pretty sure I screwed up something with the siphon hose, go thing the sender/fuel pump is fairly easy to get too.
Thanks

This.

Don't condemn something and make more work for yourself before you do the basics.

Does the car currently start and run ?

It starts and runs rough, at first it would stall but now it idles.
When I push in on the schrader valve nothing comes out with the ignition on, not sure when it's running.

It can't have running with no pressure. So you need to do diagnostics first. Or we can throw parts till you get lucky or you run out of money.

You are going to be surprised when you go to the Chev dealership to buy a new gasket for the fuel filler gasket because of the cost for this gasket.

Assuming they still have it. My dealer says "Oh, oh! Obsolete. What were you looking for again?" and many times he was right.
