Default Header 02 extensions

Hello, going to tear into the car and install headers. Can someone tell me what extensions are needed for the 02's ! 1995

If it were me, I would cut the O2 sensor wires and solder wires to extend it on the sensor end. That way, I could leave the harness intact. If not, I would solder wires to the harness end.

BTW you do not want to cut the sensor wires to extend - wire is actually part of the way the O2 works. If you were to cut and splice anything - do the chassis wires. But I'm pretty sure the wires will all work as is - getting old and can't remember !!! lol

Anyhow extensions can be bought !
I sell the Racetronix stuff and can have them drop shipped to you but I'd try first and see. greg

I thought I had read the sensor wires were crucial to accurate O2 readings but the more I looked into it they are not. As far as I know today is any good quality wire of same diameter will work and you can make custom lengths yourself.

Let us know what works for you please.
