Smooth Idle with A/C On...Rough when A/C Is Off
Does anyone have suggestions about my idle problem. My car has a slight rough idle, but when I turn the Air Conditioning on, the idle is smooth as silk. I can't even tell the car is running. Once I turn the air off however, the idle stubles. It's nothing major, but it's there.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?? I found it to be very odd. Thanks in advance.

On my car the ECM raises the idle speed when the A/C is turned on to compensate for the extra load of the compressor.
Usually a rough idle is caused by a vacuum leak.
