Default anyone got any tips on fitting the exotic muscle headers?

Hi I bought a used set of exotic muscle headers to go with the borla exhaust on my 94 corvette. I need advice on where to modify to make them fit right. I thought you had to reverse the drivers side motor mount bolt and cut part of the passenger side motor mount to fit them. I also bought a mandrel bent set of tubes to replace the cats and a set of heated o2 sensors. Even though I bought the cat replacements I'm not sure about using them. My car isn't running now is there away to tell if the cats are any good just by looking at the cores inside Or are there ways to clean them out again. I know others have tried to clean them with soap and water and other ways? maybe I should just skip the hassle and use the cat replacement tubes I have but I'd like to keep it legal but am pretty sure the cats are bad. Thanks Tim
