1995 Won't start
Hello, my Corvette will not start, the accessorys come on but than when you crank it nothing happens. The "apply pressure" light comes on but when you push the pedal down the light does not go off so I'm thinking this could be the issue why it will not start. Has anyone else had an issue with this?

I don't remember the exact wording but in order to start it you have to have your foot on the brake. If you don't, a light on the dash saying something to the effect of "apply pressure" will stay lit and the car won't start. BTW mine is a 6 speed. When I put my foot on the brake the light doesn't go out therefor it doesn't start. I had my chip on the key bypassed because my original keys were stolen. So now there is a chip wired in the ignition instead of on the key. This may have to do with this problem.....

never seen it before. Mine is a 6M as well. Is this light located in the DIC or in the Halo above the gauges? Mine will start regardless of the brake pedal.
I would start with your VATS bypass and make sure it is still working. Does the security light illuminate? Blink or steady?
I would also check the clutch pedal switch to make sure that is working as well. The car will not start unless the clutch is fully depressed.
Do you have an after market alarm system?

The Corvette has started The problem was the wires that the locksmith had crimped together and taped up for the vats chip were poking out of the tape and frayed. When he first looked at my car, the locksmith noticed the security light did not go out as mentioned. I had the same locksmith recrimp and retape the wire back up. I was thinking this was the problem and honestly glad it was something so simple. Hopefully this time the wires will stay together. I thought it was crazy that I had this done not much more than a year ago and it was falling apart. In any event I'm looking forward to driving. Thanks everybody!
