Default LS with Superchager?? Will it fit??

Ok, beginning to plan my next corvette and I would love to do late model C4 with a LS7 and supercharger but I can not find any info to see if anyone has tried this with a 3" cowl hood to give enough clearance for the supercharger. Has any actually tried this or read any info any where that might stop my crazy idea before it gets started??

This is all I was able to find. A c4 with a ls7, but looks like it would have no problem fitting a pro-charger.

shouldn't be problem at all. ls motor actually has more clearance for the hood than the stk motor . . I was thinking of an ls3 with a edlebrock 5 lb supercharger . would make a great sleeper

I guess you would be trying to find something like an LS9 swap into a C4?

Here is some useless info.

I would go LS but why spend all that money...? Maybe all the same but I would build and LS from the ground up and get a procharger and make more power than anything off the show room floor... Why limit yourself if you are going all the way?
