Default New Beast coming back for vengeance ..

Hey guys,

Some of you guys know me from the past and kept up with my different builds and progress through out the years. Unfortunately Life got busy and had to put the car and my hobby on hold. I started medical school , went overseas working along side the peace corp and now i'm finally back home going full throttle trying to get the car done before my wedding next April.

Most of the work done on the car was done by myself and great group of friends, The car was completely redone with a bunch of new upgrades that i'm excited about. The car is mainly a grudge car , so ET once the car hits the track would be kept private. Other than that your free to ask any questions.

Now for start the new engine is a SBC , it consists of a Dart Iron eagle block , raised cam with a Standard deck.

The Engine is a ...

436 CI
4" callies crank
5.850" Carrillo steel rods with carr bolts
Diamond Nitrous pistons with a .043/.043 3/16 ring pack
Solid roller camshaft .850/.850 lift 278/301 @ 50 115 LSA
Felpro MLS gaskets

14 degree Protopline heads with 2.2250/1.625 valves
Heads flow 420/308 CFM
Cast Intake
4150 1050CFM carb
Steven Johnson Induction solution Fogger .

Suspension is a narrowed strange 12bolt, 35 spline axle, 4 link , wishbone and AFCO double adjustable big gun coilovers.

I also rewired the whole car myself, took some time but i think it came out pretty good

Some pics of the car ..

Still work in progress , but it has come a long ways in the past 3 months.. I'm building a set of headers next and mounting a custom fiber glass dash . Will keep you guys updated on my progress .. Thanks and God Bless

Default Grudge Car

Very Impressive. Haven't seen a motor plate in a long time and never one in a Vette (till now). Love to see it when it's done.

Very cool project for sure. How much in materials was it to do your own wiring?

Very impressive. I think many builders overlook this very important aspect.

Thanks Guys.. I tried to simplify the car as much as i can, we all know how big of a pain they are to work on.

motor should make every bit of 800, ERIC was great to work with and he thinks 850ish wont be a problem with it setup to run for nitrous. Motor will see 500-600 worth of nitrous LOL

I would say close to $400 worth of material, I'm running a floating ground setup on the car , so all my electronics get the ground and power supply direct from the battery .. Battery filters out all the RFI's that tend to cause issues with race car electronics.

By the way , the car still retains the factory look on the inside , Will post pics of the dash i'm fitting once i get this far . Headers and dash will be next on the list , I'm gonna have a fender exit header setup with a set of 2 to 2 1/8 4" collectors.

Can you explain more on the floating ground setup?
Interested; see issues with some guys with msds electronics etc sounds like you btdt
Nothing like a brutal all motor setup love it.
Havent seen anyone use heads like that in awhile.

I'm interested as well. Mine will be street only but I wouldn't mind a custom setup like that. I opened up the engine harness i have and it was not pretty after all these years. $400 was what I figured for a ballpark on materials.
