Need best option for ARP Mains, Oil pan, Windage
I recently blew up my engine and am working on re-assembling a new one.
The Core block I have is a 2bolt main instead of a 4 bolt so I want to use ARP studs. However, the studs are too short to use the stock windage tray and pan. What is the most cost effective route to get ARP main bolts to work. Should I buy a different windage tray and pan or can I get the existing to work somehow?
Thanks.

..... It is recommended that you have the main bearing bore checked for alignment when you switch from bolts to studs ... any performance machine shop can do this for you ... ARP makes studs with extensions for windage trays ..... most aftermarket oil pans are too deep for the Corvette chassis (ground clearance) ... Canton makes a nice kicked-out pan for the C4 that can be used for road or drag racing 15-240 series ...........
