Default Analog guage cluster

I'm thinking of removing digital dash and going with analog gauges.

I was thinking 5" speedo and tach, and 2 5/8" gauges for oil press, oil temp, coolant temp, fuel level and volts.

For the main center section I was thinking speedo , tach, and the coolant, oil psi and oil temp in an inverted triangle between the speedo and tach.

I've seen some custom dashes (not just vettes) that actually have the speedo on the right and tach on the left.

I'm planning on putting speedo on left with tach on right.

What say you?

I made my own in my 84 after my second dash cluster went bad. I did mine in 1999 before these pre-mades came out. If you havent seen them, check them out. I put 5" tach & speedo and 2" fuel in main cluster. On the radio bezel where the vents and info panel were, i put a row of "2 and then a row of 2 5/8" below them think it went vacuum, fuel psi, trans temp, air/fuel mix then 2nd row was oil psi, temp, volt, oil temp. Its quite easy to do.

I started with the VetteAid main dash and then modded the center myself.

Beautiful job. Can you tell me a little bit about the display and the controls below it (which I assume are HVAC). John

The display is a Nexus 7 android tablet. I use it for music and ALDLDroid (datalogging and tuning). There is a thread about this in the Audio section here on the forums started by -=Jeff=-. The controls below the Nexus are Volume/ EQ.
My heat and AC is long gone (every bit of it).
