1985 Clutch Hydraulics Upgrades
Darn pedal started acting up. About 2yrs ago and only maybe 1000 miles master and slave replaced. Took it out one run against a 88 Mustang I was shifting at about 5000 rpm after that didn't feel right. First 2 inchs of travel wasn't there afterwards. Parked it and now nothing. Pedals flapping in the wind. Just parked it in the garage and haven't even popped the hood. Gonea replace everything again.
Any cast Iron masters and slaves out there that anyone is running or knows about? Any other masters that can be fitted that has a bigger bore than the stock 11/16's one? Anyone know of any swap overs to a mechanical Z bar thats out there? What about any c5 or c6 master swapouts? anything work? that can be adapted? Any master with adjustable rods out there for a c4? like this one for a c5

Just don't want to run all the same stock replacement crap again

Why is that? What do you need to know? The rod you showed will work great, just bleed the system and adjust. Take the old rod out, see if you get a hard pedal. be careful not to press super hard on the pedal and blow the clip out of the slave. Then adjust rod to take the slop (pedal wear) out and your good to go. Look for leakage, top off fluid. You don't need anything more special than stock.
