Default brake rotors

I am getting ready to replace my front brakes on a 94 coupe.

I will probably get Hawk pads but still looking at rotors.

I have been looking at different brand names, types (slotted, drilled, etc.).

Any recommendations on types and or brand names?

I do not race the car and consider myself a moderate, average driver.

I would like to get something nicer than the stock rotors but do not need to get anything extreme for racing ($$$$$).

I know that I have seen posts on this in the past but am not finding them now.....so any lead on past posts would be great.

Thanks.

I use EBC dimped/slotted. They stop great, but are a little noisy.

For normal driving, get Autozone Duralast rotors or something. Rotors are just an iron slab and you don't need to spend a lot on them! Drilled rotors are basically pointless and can be prone to cracking.

FWIW, I run Duralast rotors on my 1992 and autocross it every weekend, they're perfectly fine. I also use Hawk HPS pads up front, which I wouldn't buy again due to their terrible cold bite. Great once warm though.

For normal driving, just buy OEM pads.

A vendor here has a good deal on slotted & drilled + ceramic pads for about 2 bills. Since it's just for the street they will not crack as someone said and will enhance the look greatly. I had them before I started racing and they work just fine.

I just put on the Kinetic brakes drilled/slotted rotors with Wagner thermo-quiet pads. This car has never stopped this well before.

Centric premium rotors are cheap and are painted black on the hat and outer edge so they don't look nasty and rusty over time.

Are these stock rear sizes? Looks maybe like a +1. Been thinking of some Decelerotors in stock sizes until I do a BBK.
