LT1 Timing Cover Seal Replacement (picture)
I'm at the half-way point of changing optispark. I want to change the seals in the timing cover and the gasket to the cover while it's all apart. Is it possible to remove the hub from the end of the crankshaft while the engine is in the car and does it require a puller? If yes. Can the two smaller seals be changed without removing the timing chain cover?

I never had to remove the hub to do what I needed to do, I just had to remove the Balancer/pulley. I wouldn't mess with the timing cover gasket unless it is leaking or something.

here is how to properly change the seal, yours is older Corvette but its the same install when it comes to the water pump seal.
