anyone know who carries or sells the NeXeN N3000 ??

I have these and have had good results...damaged one and need to replace BUT, all the local stores are saying "unavailable" even to order...

??????

Gonna be PO'D big time if I gotta buy an odd tire or replace this set that's got 90% on 3 tires....

I called pep-boys, discount, walmart, NTB, and a couple big stores...no joy.

eBay is a good source for a NLA tire - it's the first place I'd probably look.

You didn't mention size either so .................

I would think you could contact them directly for assistance. It will do little good to either "whine" or "rant"!

yeah, you're probably right....

I am trying to avoid getting bit in the *** from buying off-brand....

heck, everybody and their cousin was buying NeXeN 1 or 2 yrs ago...its a nice looking
17" tire at a great price.

NOW....its all but vanished from the market

I have the Nexen N3000 on my vette 275 40 17 all round, they have been the best tire i have ever had on the car.
Great grip in the wet or dry and quiet and have a smooth vibration free ride, there are heaps on Ebay.

I DID look at ebay and found some...actually, I found a bunch.

Damn surprised that the local sources dried up....My research tells me that NeXeN is the oldest of several tire mfgrs in S. Korea and they are very well established around the world. They are the direct competitor with kuhmo and hankook tires.
I know I'm happy with the n3000.

Only thing I didn't like about the Nexen tires was that the side walls turned brown. Must be from the sun.

I have not come across that
I have had them on the rear for a year and summer has just finished here in Australia the tires have had a lot of sun on them. They are still nice and black.

Anyone with other tire recommendations please feel free to send me a line! I'm getting ready for a set on my new 93 coupe... The ones on it now are I think are horrible! I'll post which when I get the car back soon from the shop.
