frisbee revisited
last year I took off the frisbee, at the time there were no problems. Last week under hard acceleration I noticed a vibration and found it to be there only when the a/c is on. This weekend I'll put the frisbee back on to see if it fixes the problem. I'll keep you posted

Re: frisbee revisited (dt35th)
The frisbee isn't the problem. It was put there as a load dampener when the ac clutch engages until it was later found to be useless. That is according to C4 guru gordon Killebrew. I hope your problem isn't too serious though.

I also removed my frisbee to my 89, and I haven't had any problems. I live in Southern Florida and you know it's hot here. I use the A/C all the time. I haven't notice any change in slipping belt, abnormal noise, vibration or performance. If you have a problem, it's not weight.
