I recently backed into a concrete block and damaged both mufflers. I have a local guy wanting to sell me a 96 factory exhaust for my 93. He says the pipes are larger than my stock pipes, so it should increase performance. The cost is less than replacing my mufflers. Will it just bolt on and work?

They will fit right in. The pipes on the '96 are 2.75" but at all of the connection points, cats, resonator, muffler, down pipes, they are all 2.5". I'm pretty sure the LT1 systems are the same. But either way, any modification neccessary would be very minor.

All the LT1 systems are the same. The LT4 system has a H connection before the mufflers.

No, if you are looking for performance gains from the exhaust, then a set of long tubes and high flow cats. The rest of the systems flows more than enough for a relatively stock engine.
