1st Autox with New Forged 406 TPI
First autox I got to run last week with the new 406. This was the last run. It was taking some time getting familiar with the increase in power. Ran this on Nitto NT01's and was hard to get them heated up with the temp in the low 70's and cloudy. Can't wait till next year!

Looks like fun. Sounds awesome. How did you rank for the day?
A lot of pedal pumping through that slalom, IMO.

Nice, good run, where were you running nice big area. We finished up for the year this weekend and already missing it. I didn't get to do all my runs on the last day because of my alternator bearings getting fricked up and it froze up tearing up my belt thus losing my steering & cooling.

Yes the trans is a automatic, but not your typical auto. This one is a Stage 4 4L60 with full manual valve body built by RPM Transmissions. It is just like a manual without the clutch. I have a lot of mods. You can check them out in my public profile.

Take the shifter cart out of the equation and I was @ 3.25 seconds from FTD. I think the shifter cart was about 1.5 sec faster than the fastest car.
I run a Canton 7qt Road Race pan. I would definitely suggest it or at least a wintage tray for anyone that is running Dot slicks such as Hoosier A6's and has experience. You guys that have been autoxing for a while know you can get well over 1g in corners and all that oil can slosh to one side and possibly starve the engine for oil and there goes the bearings. I am looking hard at an accumulator too.

I was 3.7 sec off FTD at the last event I did which was also ~1:00 course. I was surprised and happy about that since I could only get w/in 9 sec of FTD, EDIT: In my C6.

Nice. That course looked awesome too. Lots of speed, long, and I dig the "drag race to the finish" at the end. It looked like a hoot.

This last course was a bit of a challenge with several decreasing radius turns. These take some practic to negotiate.

This year was tough with quite a few breakdowns so I missed a lot of laps but still managed to pick up enough points to take the first place year end award in my class.

Wasn't insinuating you needed seat time, just saying that if anyone gets acquainted with the c4's, they can be competitive against other cars even with the c4 in stock form. And as far as autox, a stock c4 with 6spd and 3.45 gears, with a L98 or LT1/4.
