Accel used to have a 9th injector delete kit. A plug for the injector and a cap for the fuel rail. Did this to my 1988 Formula 350 Firebird (sons car now). Never found it a problem deleting the 9th injector.

Also check the EGR. I replaced my 90 tubes with Accells street runners for an 88-89 and they had EGR connections on both sides so I had to plug the drivers side to stop a huge vacuum leak. 990 Runners don't have a drivers side EGR tube.
The drivers side tube is the IAC feed direct into the TPI base for the cold start injector used on the early cars as mentioned above
'89+ runners; no CSI so no drv side tube
In either case if you don't have the matching plenum from the same year you can get one huge vacuum leak. So OP, check to make sure the plenum matches the runners because there is a difference between years. In my case it was easy enough to just plug the tube and seal it.
